Take a Craft2.0 Workshop – learn to sew and stuff!

dino

Written by David Brebner, Stuffed software allows you to design and model a character, then print it out and make it yourself. Join the Craft.0 introductory class in making plushies and have a go!

Design and create your very own soft toy with David of ProjectSpace from 10am until 12pm on Sunday 7 June at Our City O-Tautahi in Christchurch.

Once you’ve designed the outline of your creature, the Stuffed programme generates a sewing pattern which you then print out, transfer onto fabric and sew together to create a small plushie. You can choose from a selection of fabrics supplied, and decorate your creature with buttons and other haberdashery. After two hours, you’ll be the proud owner of a custom designed soft toy and you’ll have learnt the following skills:

• computer-aided plushie design
• threading a needle and stitching
• embellishing and stuffing

Each Craft2.0 Workshop costs $60 person, which includes all materials. All equipment is provided. So what are you waiting for? Register online now!
