Northland artist Allan Gale works in a secluded bush valley in Waitomarama, creating his intricate wood engravings from end grain kauri. The Neinei print, pictured, is one of a limited edition of 70 printed from a single hand carved block, and is signed and numbered in pencil by Allan.
