Creative makers in Mapua and the Nelson and Bays region are once again preparing for the Mapua Makers Market, back for 2014.
The Mapua Makers Market is the creation of two local artists, who wanted to establish a market where the emphasis was on the makers and their products – so right from the beginning in 2012 the market has showcased wonderful makers from the Nelson and Bays region with a great range of handmade items, each lovingly created by the person selling it.
This summer’s markets are taking place in the Mapua Hall on Aranui Road. The next market is Sunday 26 January 10am – 3pm.
