“Handmade Nation” screening in Wellington & Auckland

Handmade Nation Poster

The documentary that’s taken the US and Australian craft scenes by storm is on its way to New Zealand. Wellington Creative are bringing the NZ premiere of Handmade Nation to Wellington and Auckland this August.

Handmade Nation is a documentary about the new wave of art, craft and design and how these mediums are being reinvented from granny style cross-stitch to modern works of art in their own right. Film maker Faythe Levine travelled across the USA documenting creative people, many of whom had given up successful day jobs to follow their passion and make a living from their artistic endeavours.

The event will be accompanied by prominent guest speakers from the creative sector, including Laurie Foon of Starfish and Margaret Lewis from The Big Idea. Book your ticket today as they will sell out! Purchase directly from the cinemas below.
