Mixing, mulling, and making the world a brighter place
When Natasha Hamlin took up watercolour painting as a creative outlet to balance the demands of her day job, it led her down a more colourful path than she had anticipated – into making the paints from scratch herself. From mixing a few custom colours for her own artistic pursuits, she has built a collection of more than 80 pigments in her Ōtepoti Dunedin studio, and turned her hand to creating watercolour paints for other artists to express themselves.
