What have Aucklanders been stashing in the sewing cupboard? Find out this weekend at the first ever Auckland Fabric-a-brac! At 9 o’clock sharp on Saturday morning the doors of Freemans Bay Community Hall will open and it’s treasure hunting time.
Fabric-a-brac is the ultimate destash – a sale for lovers of fabrics, haberdashery and trims. Some people book a table and bring their fabric to sell, and others just come to buy. And there will be coffee, tea and sweet treats. What better way to spend a Saturday than a girls’ day out finding fabulous fabrics?
Fabric-a-brac has a grand tradition of supporting worthy causes and this event is no exception, with proceeds going to Mercy Hospice, who do great work in the local community.
If you’re due for a destash, bookings are still open for last minute stallholders – visit the Fabric-a-brac website for further details.
Could I book a table for the Auckland 9 March 2013 event please.
Hey there – yes likely to be – find us on facebook to keep in touch and we’ll let Felt know when it’s confirmed. Wellington hopefully coming up soon…
