Fabric from the people to the people, since 2009

In the early days of Felt, one of the most exciting things about growing an online community was the many new opportunities to connect with like-minded people doing amazing things around New Zealand – and one of those new friends, back in 2009, was Josie Brennan, the founder of Fabric-a-brac. This year Fabric-a-brac is celebrating its 15th anniversary with five new locations around Aotearoa, and an incredible grand total of over $140,000 raised for hospice in New Zealand!

What have Aucklanders been stashing in the sewing cupboard? Find out this weekend at the first ever Auckland Fabric-a-brac! At 9 o’clock sharp on Saturday morning the doors of Freemans Bay Community Hall will open and it’s treasure hunting time.

Fabric-a-brac is the ultimate destash – a sale for lovers of fabrics, haberdashery and trims. Some people book a table and bring their fabric to sell, and others just come to buy.
