Printmaker Emily Cater has a busy and interesting life - which includes performing in a handmade mermaid and mariner dress with her band Mermaid and Mariner! She's also just taken part in the Auckland Art and Craft Fair and is currently working on some giant landscape paintings and a new zine. Maddi's Market AKL
11am–2pm at 28 Kaurilands Road, Titirangi. Fundraising market for a brave wee girl who is battling leukemia. Crafty goodness, cake stall, vintage and much more. Admission free.
Alfriston Country Market AKL
9am–12pm at Alfriston Community Hall, 300 Mill Rd, Alfriston (beside Alfriston School). Handcrafts for home and family, preserves and plants. Admission free.
Market Place HAM
9am–1pm at St Francis Church, 92 Mansel Ave, Hillcrest. Held first Saturday of the month with more than 30 stallholders, showcasing all things vintage, retro and handmade. Admission free.
