My name is Dave Johnson, and I started woodturning shortly after retirement after a working life as an electrician. Going from logic to creativity has opened up a whole new realm for me, and I really enjoy trying to make items that are not only beautiful, but useful as well. I have a small workshop in my garden here in Rotorua and I try and use recycled timbers where possible.
