My home is Christchurch, New Zealand.
I have always loved sewing, art, and making things, and have been qulting for about twenty years. I could not afford good quilting fabrics and learned to dye cotton with cold-water dyes, and later to print with batik (hot wax) techniques, to get interesting and unique fabrics to work with. I made baby quilts for my family and friends, and joined a co-operative craft shop to sell baby quilts, small landscape wall quilts, and small craft items such as pot mitts, cushions, and soft toys.
I love reading, dancing, cats, and gardening. I have a husband David who does woodwork, and a blended family of six, now grown-up, children, and nine grandchildren between them.
