Glass Art - Monarch Butterfly (Large)
Our monarch butterflies contain layers of opaque and transparent orange glass along with jet black and opaque white glass. This listing is for a single large butterfly.
The wings have been formed one at a time, by melting and shaping the glass repeatedly to make them as realistic as possible. Thin black glass has been applied carefully to create the banding pattern on the wings and white glass has been dotted around the edges of the wings.
These beautiful butterflies are larger than our other art glass garden creatures, measuring approximately 35-38mm across and they are suspended on copper wire "stems" so they can make a stunning addition to your mini art glass bouquet or they will make a beautiful gift on their own.
Please note these butterflies take at least 5-7 business days to make.

The third image shows a size comparison between the large butterflies (this listing) and small butterflies (separate listing) and the final image is an example of how the butterfly looks with our other flowers. Please note: Other items in images (eg: vases and other stems) are not included.
