‘Crests at Karekare’. Original Limited-Edition Reduction Linocut Prints

Original Limited Edition Linocut.
“Crests at Karekare”.
Limited Edition of 11.
All prints are numbered, titled and signed.
Individually handprinted Linoprint using the Reduction method, with minimum 5 colour layers.
Printed on 100 % cotton Fabriano Tiepolo paper 290gsm, using light-fast water-based inks.
Paper size approx 230 x 300mm
Print area approx 150 x 200mm
Reduction printing is when a block is cut into with small chisels and a layer of colour is printed on all editions. Then more is cut away, and a second colour printed on top. Repeating this process until the desired number of layers and depth is built up, by which time the block is destroyed, and the Edition is complete.
As these are all individually handprinted, each print has very slight variations, making them even more one of a kind!
Print comes unframed, and will be posted sandwiched between stiff card.
