Young silver birch trees are set in a long-stitched green meadow; vivid yellow and pink lines delineate the horizon, below a blue stitched skyline. Wool knots represent the new leaves, while over-stitching forms the distinctive tree bark.

Handcrafted with care by Bronwyn Angela White in a smoke-free and pet-free home.

Although some works are similar, none are identical. When you buy from "Eclectic Yarn" (or any of my shops on Felt), you know your purchase is "one of a kind", an original design, and will never be duplicated.

Silver birches' bark is white with scattered black fissures. The young twigs are typically covered in white ‘warts’, and feel rough to the touch. The bark becomes much more rugged with diamond-shaped crevices as it gets older.

This "Silver Birch Forest" artwork is #7 in a series that's being added to.
