Knack is back in the capital!

Knack Craft Market, a Wellington crafting institution, is back this weekend with a double feature of market treats. This Friday night from 6 (20 September) Berhampore School will be aglow with the handcrafted goodies, live music and delicious food of the Knack-cessories Night Market. But they’re not done there! From 9.30am on Saturday (21 September) you can return for the next exciting instalment of New Zealand crafts, jewellery, clothes, home-baked treats and delicious hot food at the Spring Knack Market.

Knack craft markets have been running for six years now. They started as (and still are) school fundraisers for Berhampore School. Knack has gained a reputation for being a great market for those just starting out, and there are also many loyal stallholders, who have been a part of Knack for years, making a regular appearance.

Knack showcases beautiful, original, New Zealand made craft, and the organisers make a point of supporting the “new” New Zealand – people who have only recently made Aotearoa their home and still have strong traditions and crafts which they have brought with them. Inclusion, a core value of Berhampore School, is also one of Knack’s.

Berhampore School is located at 105 Britomart St, Berhampore. Make sure you get to at least one of these great markets this weekend – why not check out both?
