I am a Jewellery designer, hand making my one off pieces in Opua.

I take my concept, copper / silver, saw, soldering torch, pliers, hammers and anvil and hand forge my jewellery.

I melt and fuse silver onto copper as a painter paints. It is a humbling experience melting metal and I feel like I am trying to tame a lava flow while also feeling at one with the earth during the process.
