Ye Olde Tracks Ltd was incorporated in March 2008 to manage the expansion of an idea to manufacture railway iron and other metal rails into railway memorabilia.
Initially the idea was to simply cut as best one could cut railway iron and market the 15mm cross section pieces for the Otago Central Rail tourist market. Not so.

The opportunity to enlarge the number of possible ways of marketing the ‘tracking’ soon became apparent and a need to mechanize production required a rather large capital outlay.
The result is that currently many options are available to suit the requirement of the buyer. Virtually anything is possible including the amazing concept of being able to print your photos of family or what ever onto the metal.

The rail pieces are available in there natural state, chromed and powder coated. Our current research shows that no one has ever processed this type of raw material to sell as memorabilia. Yes, spoons, cups and saucers, clocks, signals, miniature trains, sleepers, etc.but no cut rail.
So it is novel, extremely historical, and attractive.

All pieces are related to their place of manufacture, country, town/city, size of, and the year that the steel was actually rolled out of the mills. Most of the rail is well over 100 years old. Some back as far as 1872.
