Kia ora hello and welcome to my treasure trove.

Local and sustainable practices are important to me.
All the silver I use is recycled in NZ, and I take care to use lower impact synthetic gemstones where possible.

I am a tutor at CEC, a metalwork jeweller and an illustrator based in Te Whanganui-A-Tara, Wellington City in Aotearoa New Zealand.
I grew up in the hills and valleys of Motueka at the edge of Kahurangi National Park.

For me, jewellery pieces are like small, tactile sculptures. They have a really interesting and unique connection with our bodies. I like how jewellery has an everyday, ordinary function, yet is often regarded as a treasure, a talisman, a memento - an anchor and connection to things, people, places and experiences elsewhere. I like my jewellery to be detailed yet also raw - to show its materiality and the hand of the maker. I feel that nature remains the greatest teacher.
Hopefully, when holding or wearing my work, people feel a small glimmer of awe for things beyond themselves, and things smaller than themselves. Jewellery can both express and transform who we are. I think of my work as elemental, natural, alchemical, sensitive, and raw.
