My language is that of form and colour and I have found my affinity In the forever fascinating world of clay and glazing. Ceramic Art is the ultimate combination of all I cherish: sculpture, painting, physics, chemistry, poetry.
I do smaller lines of functional design with focus on high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. To me glazing is just as important as the form itself and I spend a lot of time researching and developing my own glazes.
I also work with idea based projects and often mix materials and techniques. I'm highly creative and there is never enough hours in one day.
I live with my husband and two sons on a small farm in Ngahinapouri in the Waikato. We moved to New Zealand from Sweden six years ago and exchanged a busy career life in Stockholm for a chance to follow our dreams of creativity and being close to nature. I love waking up every day in our special place and feel very privileged to walk 30 meters to my studio and get to it. We also run a small Market Garden, NK Garden Farm and supply locals with sprayfree and nutritious fruit and veggies.
