Hello, my name is Gina & I'm a jewelry maker, living in the lovely seaside town of Nelson, New Zealand, with my partner and daughter (who is my beautiful model - be sure to check out some of my product photos!). Aside from my passion for designing & creating, my other passions including traveling, reading, listening to music & going to concerts, daily beach walks and spending time with family & friends ♥

I've always love creating. From a young age I would spend my time designing and making, but my passion for designing & creating jewelry begun in 2006 whilst living in Australia, where I got my first taste of silver-smithing and working with other metals. From there I continued my learning & begun experimenting using other materials. As time went on, I begun to look at what materials I was using, and the impact that they have on the environment, and to our land fill. Around this time I began to see a lot of time-worn, aged, vintage leather belts being sold at local flea markets, at thrift stores and vintage clothing stores, and I began to think of ways I could incorporate these belts into my unique jewellery designs and metalwork. From there, my design idea for jewelry from re-purposed leather, with metal embellishments was created. Being a jewelry maker, I also particularly enjoy creating unique handmade jewelry, by working with copper, brass, aluminum, fine silver & sterling silver, and with some creative metal work, turning these metals into unique & original rings, bangles, earrings & pendants.
I’m always striving to decrease my own life & my business’s environmental impact. The sheet copper & brass that I use for the embellished metal designs are sourced from a local supplier to cut down on fuel usage & whenever possible, I purchase re-purposed items & recycled supplies.

All my leather bracelets and jewelry, have a relaxed boho, vintage fashion vibe to them. I create my designs especially for those who are looking for a more environmental friendly, original & fashionable alternative to what is offered in mainstream jewelry stores.
