I love sewing, and it is my relaxation. I'm simply unable to resist buying beautiful fabrics, and I have an ever-growing and varied stash. I love it all - retro, vintage and contemporary.

My preferred fabrics are natural and breathable, such as linens and cottons. But some fabrics I buy just because they are beautiful.

I source fabrics at fairs, Fabric-a-Brac, on Trade Me and at retail sales. All fabrics are unused (unless stated that they are pre-loved) and I wash all fabrics before making them up.

You are unlikely to see anyone else wearing the clothes I make as I usually only make one item - or sometimes two - from each fabric.

I make a variety of items to utilise the fabrics in my stash.
