I'm a Chilean woman, graphic designer, crafter, mum and wife... living in Wellington since 2009. Something in this beautiful city motivated me to pursue the dream of to turn my creative hobby into a business and combine my graphics skills and my love for craft to make Stitch & Design born and grow.

I started cross stitching more than 10 years ago making patterns from magazines and books, then I started to create my own designs when I had enough of the usuals bears and flowers.
In July 2009 I discovered the wonderful world of Amigurumis; I was absolutely captivated! I have created some original pattern and I still have more ideas to develop.

In the last months I've been experimenting in contemporary embroidery design, and I'm so happy with the results!

I know I have a lot of work to do and lots of skills to develop but I truly believe that this is what I love.
