It all started in 2013. After being a long-term handmade soap consumer, one day, an idea suddenly came to me --- why don’t I make soap myself? I want to produce soap as natural as possible, doing no harm to both body and environment. I made soap for use at first. Then it became a hobby. Making soap is a mix of art and science. Be precise and pay attention to details during the production, while at the same time, exploring the endless possibilities in pattern design and experimenting recipes with unexpected results. With passion, there was no room for soap on the shelf anymore. I began to give them away. Surprisingly, I started receiving positive responses. Some people even asked if I did business. They wanted to buy as a gift for family or friend. This is how a simple idea eventually transformed into Snail n Ladybug, the name was drawn from my niece and nephew’s (two youngest customers so far) favorite insects. Also, snail and ladybug can only live in the environment with no pollution. I wish a clean earth.
To make soap and other products as natural as possible, I use plant or clay for color and essential oil for scent. It is normal that natural thing is gone away with time. For me, the main purpose of bath products is to gently clean the body with nothing left on the skin after showering. Instead of stating the benefits of this or that ingredient, I believe that what matters most is how you and your body feel and respond.
I hope that what I produce comfort you. It helps you start a new day while taking a shower, wash away tiredness before going to bed, and bring happiness while using it.
