Hello, I am Sam, the artist and creator of SILVERSTAR.NZ, located in Rotorua, New Zealand.

All the funky and fun polymer clay creations in this store are handmade by yours truly in my little garage/studio, who I share with my partner and two adorable doggies, Misty and Sarge ♥︎

Throughout my creative journey, I've always had a soft spot for drawing and painting. Over the years, I've honed my skills with other various art mediums, such as digital art, watercolour/acrylic painting and pottery. These skills are now a huge part of my small business and are a key part in crafting my jewellery pieces as well.

During the first lockdown in March 2020, I began seeking something to occupy my time and discovered I had a passion for crafting polymer clay earrings. We make all our products in small batches, utilizing every bit of clay and materials so nothing goes to waste.
