Hi, I'm Dayle! I was born and raised right here in Masterton.

In September 2023 I was in search of a new hobby, something to keep me busy. I've always struggled with anxiety so I needed something that would help me to keep my mind distracted. A friend suggested I should give candle making a go. So I did just that. And little did I know that this would become something that I am truly passionate about.

I started selling my candles to close friends, family and work colleagues who were all able to provide me with feedback. At this time my brand name was Candles by Dayle. I also started spending endless hours and many late nights researching the art of candle making and testing - just really throwing myself into the science behind it all!

By February of 2024 I had reached a point where I had learnt so much and felt I had greatly bettered myself as a candle maker that I decided to do a complete re-brand and reach out to a wider audience. This is when ScentFicks was introduced.

I absolutely love the art and the process of candle making and I want to be able to share it with you.
