McChesney-Kelly Adams is a multi-faceted artist from Lyttelton. She is inspired by nature, particularly life. In most of her works you will find animals, usually snakes, plants or portraits. McChesney is becoming quite sought after and gaining a reputation for her realistic animal drawings. When she isn't creating an extensive realistic drawing she also enjoys a more spontaneous and unique style blending realism and abstraction. Her style is mostly always drawn with pencils or pen however, she does enjoy the flexibility of watercolour and inks. Recently her attraction has been more set on painting murals around Christchurch and has completed a few in the Catnap Cafe and XCHC (Exchange) Cafe.
