"Nothing brings to life again, a forgotten memory like fragrance." - Christopher Poindexter

I began making 'bath bombs' after developing chronic eczema and a soap allergy. I couldn't even use handmade soaps as even they aggravated my eczema. I was forced to start using bland soap and shampoo substitutes and found them totally soulless. I longed for the uplifting scents of indulgent bath and shower goodies. After finding that salt soaks helped soothe my eczema I looked into making bath bombs.

A little bit of research and experimentation later, and I developed my own 'bath bonbons'. As I also don't have a bath, I needed something I could use in the shower. So, my bath bonbons can be used in several ways. I place one in a bowl on the soap dish of my shower and as it fills with water while I'm showering, the wonderful fragrances are released as the bonbon dissolves. Then when the block is fully dissolved I splash the solution over my body and rinse it through my hair for a delicate and gentle fragrance.

However, my bath bonbons can also be used in the bath as traditionally bath bombs, or in a tub of warm water for a foot or hand soak, or as a mini vapour diffuser - fill a glass with hot water and drop in your favourite bonbon for a lovely indulgent fragrance explosion. Perfect for fragrancing your personal space at work when you need a moment to de-stress!
