PLEASE NOTE: I AM ON HOLIDAY FROM DECEMBER 5TH 2023 UNTIL JANUARY 28TH 2024 AND CAN NOT TAKE ORDERS DURING THIS TIME.

Hi, i"m Mike Horo, semi retired Furniture Designer. I started out as a Cabinet maker for a local business in the 70's and totally enjoyed working with Timber.
I saved up all the offcuts from making draw fronts for nearly a decade, I had thousands of them stored up. I couldn't bring myself to burn them.
Around 1979 my wife wanted a couple of chopping Boards....all my strips came to mind, I'd make her something totally different, they turned out beautiful and were rather impressive.
In the Mid 80's I started my own business, and continued until several yrs ago. I decided to start producing Boutique Wooden Boards for all my Kitchen Customers, as well as Renovation customers.
I love creating a piece that's beautiful and puts a smile on some ones face.
Every Board is hand made from recycled demolition timber, with 1 or 2 New Timbers to give a special look to my Boards.
Finishing takes 2 to 4 days, then I set them aside for a further week or 2 for the last process which is my secret.
I put a lot of time into every board, and take huge pride when they are finished and ready to sell.
All my Bread Boards and Meat Chopping Boards are supplied with 4 rubber feet attached.
I supply a free pot of my own Bee's Wax Polish with every Board sold, and also have a larger pot for sale that will last for quite some time. I also produce Furniture Oil.
Due to the amount of work I have and do, I always have boards in stock, but can take a week to process orders.
I also have new Boards available which I will get posted soon.

DO NOT:
Put your Board in the microwave.
Put your Board in a dishwasher.
Leave your Board sitting on a hot oven top.
Put your board in a sink of water
Leave your Board sitting in sunlight every day
Do not put pots straight from elements onto the boards
All of these will damage the Board.

My Bread Boards are not designed to be used as cutting Boards for meat, I supply a meat Board for that use.
Cheese boards are for platters only and are not a chopping Board. Wipe down after use, and store away.
After using your Board, wipe it down with a damp soft cloth and put it away standing on an edge.
Wax your board every couple of weeks, using a soft cloth, spread a good coating of my wax to all surfaces, and store away
on an edge. Next time you use the board, give it a quick wipe down.
