Handcrafted adornments inspired by natures perfection, created thanks to mans imperfection

A collection of artesanal handmade wire jewelry.

I design and make jewelry for me. As I am ever evolving and my life ever changing, my work tends to follow suit. I create a mixture between fine elegant and very feminine pieces to gypsy influenced and lately, heavier and more industrial styles. Each piece has its own story and influences.

My inspiration ranges from natural plant forms to forgotten mechanical metal items. The designs are my own, although often include standard design pieces from the filigrana and other jewelry styles from Latin America and around the world.

I use a collection of different types of metal including: Alpaca, or argentinian silver (a metal alloy containing copper, zinc and nickel), recycled copper wire from electrical cables, Latón, old brass items and bronze when I come across it and a variation of beautiful different steel items which I find along the way. These include bolts, nuts, washers, chain pieces and the like.

I use natural stones from the areas in which I am traveling. These, yes, are mined. Although gem mining will never be sustainable, at least the stones are mainly mined, worked and sold by the local villages. I buy either directly from these villagers or from other travelers who fund their travels through buying and selling gemstones. Although, I do also buy smaller stone beads and other supplies from standard commercial businesses. A large collection of these being quartz from Brazil.

Each piece a leaf off the tree of life. Enjoy.
