Hi I have been a milliner since 1993 when i started making hat's and selling them at the flea market in Takapuna.
Since then I have done a course in millinery and am now based in Foxton Beach which is a wonderfully sleepy place and great for getting the creative juices flowing.There is nothing better than taking a strole on the beach collecting shells to make broaches for summer hats, and even in the dead of winter I can think of nothing better than a walk on the wild west coast of NZ although you must have a nice warm hat on.
Some people may remember when I was based in Woodville and selling them around the lower North Island. The "BEACH SHOP" or "HOME BASE SHOP" is now open..We have now moved into Foxton into the main street .66 Main st opp new world.
