I've spent my life with one foot in the arts, dabbling in photography, design and illustration and one foot in gravity sports, climbing mountains and hurtling down them.
My day job is in the film industry working closely with camera and lighting. I started learning about CAD to mill fabrication, building action camera shock absorption rigs and was eventually drawn to working with wood and light.
In my workshop I have design, electrical, sanding, coating and laser cutting zones in which I'm constantly learning more about the prototyping process and shaping light.
I've spent my years between New Zealand and Denmark and aside from the organic shapes around me I think there's a measure of Norse and Pacific design influence in some of my work.
