Hello, I am based in beautiful Nelson

My road to Felt was not intentional. I was 'climbing the corporate ladder' when I woke up one day in hospital. I was told I had a brain hemorrhage and had been in a coma for 6 days

Several years later I was still unable to return to work so I turned to art and creativity

I've learnt most of my techniques through trial and error as my brain capacity for reading long instructions is limited

I was doing this therapeutically for some time and then began selling at Markets

I've been on hiatus from Felt and am now back and starting to add listings to my shop

What you will find is an array of creative work

My most recent indulgence is using the age-old technique of decoupage to decorate mannequins

Though I will also be listing cards - hearts - stones - jewellery - bird feeders and more...

Once I start a project and feel it is going well I either spend the day in silence or play music. While doing intricate work I listen to Jazz or Blues. When I need a boost I enjoy Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner...

My inspiration is usually very feminine focused
