I learnt how to knit when my first baby was born. She is now eight years old.

Since then I have knitted my (four) children hats, jerseys, booties and scarves. Apart from being shown initially how to knit and purl, I have learnt to knit through practice, practice, practice.

Knitting has grown on me. I love doing it.

Knitting helps me to relax and focus on the simple things in life.
