Cute soft toys and deer wall hangings made from nostalgic wool blankets.

Fibre runs through my veins! My great great great grandfather was a Paisley weaver from Scotland and the following generations have knitted, embroidered and sewn.
I have been creating since I was a child, my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 7 and that started a life long passion for fibre crafting.

I am a multi-crafter,
I spin, dye, knit, crochet, felt and sew, drawn by the colours and textures of fibre and fabric.
I am Fully Woolly!

I started spinning yarn for sale, taking fleece adding colour to turn the ordinary in to something unique, creating yarn for myself and other fibre enthusiasts to knit and crochet.
This lead to making kits for knitters, using the yarn and patterns I designed.
I knit and crochet cosy hats and other accessories.
I make deer head wallhangings and a collection of softies from vintage blankets.

I am a bit of a magpie, collecting fabrics and fibres and snippets of ideas and creating something new and wonderful from them.
I also repurpose fabrics, knits and vintage woollen blankets, taking fabrics with a history, (which are often very nostalgic for people) giving them a new story to tell.

I really enjoy the design and development of a small idea, making it, tweaking it, and re-making it until it satisfies me. I have won several national knitwear design awards.

I am based in Wanaka, in the southern lakes area of New Zealand, it is a beautiful place to live and create and the colours of the area are often reflected in my work.
I sell my work at the Wanaka Sunday Craft Market. If you have seen my work there and would like something that isn't listed here please message me and I will let you know if its available.
