Loved by grandma, discarded by Mum, now cherished

Hopefully off to France soon. Closing my shop items until the Spring

I am a New Zealander who spends a few months in France every year. I love the charm of yesteryear and consequently I love to visualise and create items with a quaint altruistic quality. My passion is fabric and I am obsessed with creating something from nothing and bringing it back to life. Lace is my downfall especially in France. I enjoy being the caretaker of something lovely, forlorn and forgotten and using it to make something special. My little workshop in France is my haven but I continue to work on my handmade hats and smocked dress while I am in NZ. I never make to order and every Smocked Dress Sunhat or cloche is OOAK. I try to have a stall at Taupo Market most Sundays during the summer.
