I live in Whangarei NZ with my partner and my Vizsla Siva. I'm originally from South Africa and have lived in Australia, UK and now New Zealand. Sewing is a hobby that I love doing as I find it relaxing and a great creative outlet. I work as a scientist when I'm not busy shopping for material!

I started Feels Sew Good to combine my love of sewing and helping the community. I am also very interested environmental issues, which is why I decided to mainly focus on reusable tote bags and other products that can help eliminate the need for plastic in our everyday lives.

I wanted to use my hobby of sewing and do something good for the community, and so I came up with the idea to sell products and donate half of the profit to local charities. The rest of the profit goes into purchasing further material to make new products. I will change the charities every couple of months - check out my Instagram account for updates. I work full time as a scientist so do this solely as a side business to invest in our communities.
