Hello my name is Doe.
I'm a longtime hand spinner, dyer and weaver. I enjoy working with natural fibres and have been known to personally select fleece from the animal's back.
I weave on floor looms.
I dye with natural dyes as well as well as synthetic dyes.
The natural dyes are derived from eco friendly natural dye companies and also from plants grown in my garden.
The synthetic dyes I use are mostly surplus dyes from a NZ commercial spinning mill which would otherwise have gone to waste.

The yarns I dye are sourced where possible from New Zealand.
My yarns are suitable for most textile crafts including knitting, crochet and weaving.

I teach some of my skills to others periodically.
