After re-discovering my love of crochet and expanding my skills, I started to combine my love of crocheting with a small (tiny!) eco friendly sustainable business.
I make fantastic cotton cloths to replace sponges and one use cloths, great from doing the dishes to wiping benches and even cleaning the car.
I also make an awesome alternative to those plastic netty things everyone has in the shower. I created a textured pattern cloth - either cobblestone or waffle pattern - which works really well with either bar or liquid soap.
All my cloths can easily be popped into the washing machine (I do my mine with a load of towels) and even into the dryer if you want to. I love a good pop of colour in both my kitchen and bathroom so bright colours are my favourite however I do have a range of more muted colours if you'd prefer.
I'm more than happy to customise colours and sizes - from large thick cloths for cleaning the car to small ones to keep next to the coffee machine.
Keeping in mind sustainability, I try to keep my eco footprint small. I use old unusable sewing patterns to wrap my orders, print my own labels and use leftover bits of yarn to tie on the labels.
$1 from every cloth is always donated to charity - I'm currently splitting it between Birdcare Aotearoa and The Animal Sanctuary.
