I have always loved horses but have not had a lot of opportunities for riding. I was a volunteer with Riding for the Disabled for about 11 years and out of this came the idea of making some sort of horse to sell - ones that don't take up much room, are cheap to maintain, and give hours of enjoyment for all ages. I began with knitting ones based on an idea a friend gave me. From this my fabric horses developed. I call them Crazy Horses because I loosely base the idea of them on crazy patchwork.
As well as my horses, I have also developed a pattern for a doorstopper Crazy Horse. I started making Crazy Cats when a friend requested I make two for her to give as gifts. I have Crazy Pups in the pipeline.
