I have a passion for artistic design and was introduced to jewellery making as a creative outlet many years ago. It is an alluring pastime that has absorbed countless hours and provided much enjoyment to me, and I hope also to the wearers of the pieces that I make.
Based in Whitby, just north of Wellington, I am lucky enough to enjoy spectacular views over both the Pauatahanui inlet and surrounding farmland. The rich blues and greens offer much inspiration and are consistently featured in my designs. I find that nature provides a constant source of influence in the colours and combinations of my jewellery. From a breathtaking sunset radiant with pink and gold, to the darkest of nights awash with crystal stars, to the dramatic flowers and ferns that are the jewellery of my garden, each is unique and exquisite in its own way.
I enjoy working with a wide range of materials and am constantly looking for new and distinctive elements to bring into my individual pieces. Likewise, I endeavour to build on my existing skills through developing new techniques and experimenting with repurposing materials to use in innovative and different ways.
High on my list of priorities is providing a truly enjoyable customer experience, which includes prompt, professional service and a quality product. If you smile when you receive and open your item then I have achieved my goal.
My handcrafted jewellery is available through a number of online and retail channels and my range is constantly changing and being updated. Thank you for dropping by, and I hope that you find something here that catches your eye and will make you smile.
