I am a self-taught artist with a passion for colour, texture and composition. These are always at the forefront of mind when creating artwork.

Picking up the brushes again after many years and rediscovering my creative spirit came from personal tragedy. This however, created the space to explore what I innately love to do and for that, I am immensely grateful.

With 4 wonderful children our lives are busy, but I do what I love around their school and sporting activities. My art is for them.

A creative at heart, I spent hundreds of hours toiling away in the school art room either painting or printmaking. During university days, I had a little card business, entered local exhibitions, sold some work through local galleries and to friends and family.

Mixed media and creating with flowers is my current focus but you never know what’s next. My signature style is fixing out the artwork in charcoal then applying a bright acrylic underlay before oil painting over the top of it all.

I will continue to create by no absolute or finite style.

As a creative – I see no end. I keep thinking, I keep creating, I keep producing.
