By cultivating the beautiful we scatter the seeds of heavenly flowers.....

All my life I have been making things.Encouraged by a mother who kept us beautifully clothed in sewn and knitted garments and a father who was a museum curator,a historian furniture and toymaker. I have been sewing since a very young age.I started to make jewelry after my kids had left home.Threading beads became an obsession with me after being diagnosed with cancer. This year marks my fifth year cancer free thank god.
When not creating I love hunting out useful things to create with and I am a habitual recycler, from scraps of lace,an old dress no longer wearable with beautiful material and I love collecting antiques and books.
On my more serious side I am human rights and peace activist, a job with no pay, the reward being knowing you can bring happiness and hope to people with little of both.
