Large beautifully grained Burled Cypress deep rimmed Bowl
Large Burled Cypress deep rimmed Bowl. Beautiful grain figure and dark colour with lots of chatoyancy. This piece was a quarter cut from where I removed a couple of burls.
It had a small rot cavity which I filled with copper mica resin.
Turned nice and thin, 8mm walls, 330mm(13")D x 170mm(7")H
Boiled Linseed oiled then 3 step buff and wax process to seal and protect for a lifetime, an all non toxic process
All signed by NZ award winning Turner. A geat piece of fine art for the New Zealand collector
