Scrap Cloth Basket - Yarn Bowl, Workbasket, Trinket Bowl
This little basket is made from strips of salvaged cloth crocheted together with knitting cotton. It was designed as a yarn bowl that can be crushed down to fit in your bag for crafting on the go, but could be used for anything you could use a wee basket for really. It has a wide flat base (14cm diameter) for stability and a pot belly so a yarn ball can turn in it easily. It's slightly narrower at the mouth (11cm diameter) with a loop in the edge to thread your yarn, or hang it up if you were using it as a peg basket or similar. Nice and deep (10.5cm) - big enough to hold, say, a good sized ball of sock yarn.
