Hand Carved Olive Wood Spoon

Hand-carved from a freshly pruned olive tree branch collect from our neighbor, this scoop was carefully air-dried before finishing cuts to avoid cracks. Using traditional tools like an axe, hook knife, and carving knives, it has been entirely shaped by hand, leaving unique knife finishes. The bowl is burnished to compress the wood fibers, natural polish without sanding.

The handle showcases intricate, one-of-a-kind geometric patterns made with the chip carving technique, creating depth and character through the shadows of the carved pockets.

The spoon is finished with multiple coats of pure tung oil and citrus oil, giving it a beautiful, durable finish.

Please note: This spoon gental hand-wash only, no scouring/scub pads should be used.
