Vivid Forest at Sunset Triptych (Vivid Forest series 09)

This is a triptych of works in a single frame, with vivid tree trunks in a gradient of shades from orange through ruby-russet to purple. Each is set in a background with squares and stripes of bright complementary colours. They're in a simple black frame with white mat board.

Please note: it's been difficult to photograph this colour combination and show the colours accurately; in some of these photos, the purples look rather dull but in reality, the purples range from plum to violet.

This is the 9th in my new "Vivid Forest" series; as it progressed, my vivid forest have become more abstract!

Method: Embroidery stitches—mainly long stitch
Fibres: Wool - knitting and tapestry wools
