Silver Birch with purple landscape (II) : unique fibre art

Slim silver birch trees are set in a bright meadow of purple, pink and green shades, with a few knot flowers in the foreground.

This is the 33rd in my "Silver Birch Forest" series (see a brief description of these trees below.) Framed in a simple white frame with a stand, or could be hung on the wall.

Main colours: Purple, mauve, pink, green

Method: Stitching art—mainly long stitch and knots, on tapestry canvas.
Fibres: Wool - knitting and tapestry wools

Silver birches' bark is white with scattered black fissures. The young twigs are typically covered in white ‘warts’, and feel rough to the touch.
