Wolf Linocut Print on Japanese Washi Paper

Wolf linocut print hand printed on Japanese washi paper.
This is an original design hand carved on a linoleum plate and printed manually with a Japanese barren (not with a press).

The paper size is 26 cm x 21 cm (Kitikata), 26 cm x 19 cm (Kozo), and the impression design is 21 cm x 14,5 cm approx.

I use Charbonnel oil based washable black ink and Japanese Awagami washi paper.

Two editions available:

Open Varied Edition of 7 and its title is Wolf. The prints available are printed on the following papers:
2 x Kitikata Green (36 gsm, smooth surface, warm-tone; Composition 90% Gampi, 10% Alpha cellulose)
3 x Kozo (70 gsm, smooth texture, white; Composition: 90% Kozo, 10% wood pulp)

Limited Edition of 12. This design comes from the same plate but after this edition I modified it, carving a few more details. Is printed in Kozo paper.
2 x Kozo (70 gsm, smooth texture, white; Composition: 90% Kozo, 10% wood pulp)

When you purchase the print, send me a message with the print that you want.

All prints are signed with HB pencil right bellow the printed image with the type of editioning and number of print, the title and my name.

The ad is just for the purchase of the print, which I carefully pack in a clear plastic bag with 600 gsm white cardstock, to keep it flat and send it to you safely as a NZ post letter.

I'm very thorough and I always try to make all the impressions in a series as identical as possible, but the nature of this technique allows for every print to be a unique piece of artwork. Bare in mind that the print you see in the photo may not be exactly identical as the one you receive. From every printing session, I select only the best prints for selling, so the best quality is assured, and only those belong to the edition.

I don't accept returns or replacements as this is hand printed and every individual print is unique. I'll always do everything I can to ensure the artwork arrives to you in perfect condition and as soon as possible.
