Glass Art - Monarch Butterfly (small)

Our gorgeous new monarchs are here! Butterflies represent transformation and rebirth, but they can also bring such joy simply by being present. Our monarch butterflies contain layers of opaque and transparent orange glass along with jet black and opaque white glass. The wings have been formed one at a time, by melting and shaping the glass repeatedly to make them as realistic as possible. Thin black glass has been applied carefully to create the banding pattern on the wings and white glass has been dotted around the edges of the wings. These beautiful butterflies are larger than our other art glass garden creatures, measuring approximately 28-30mm across and they are suspended on copper wire "stems" so they can make a stunning addition to your mini art glass bouquet or they will make a beautiful gift on their own. The second image shows the back of the butterflies. The third image shows a size comparison between the small butterflies (this listing) and large butterflies (separate listing) and the final image is an example of how the butterfly looks with our other flowers.
