“Dawn Dipper”, Original Limited Edition Linocut

Original Limited Edition Linocut print.
“Dawn Dipper”.
A little swimmer meets the day with a Rangitoto view.
Limited Edition of 18.
All prints are numbered, titled and signed.
Individually handprinted Linocut using the Reduction method, with 6-7 colour layers.
Printed on Fabriano Unica paper 290gsm, using Flint ink and Cranfield Caligo safe-wash.
Paper size approx 250 x 350mm
Print area approx 150 x 200mm
Reduction printing is when a block is cut into with small chisels and a layer of colour is printed on all editions. Then more is cut away, and a second colour printed on top. Repeating this process until the desired number of layers and depth is built up, by which time the block is destroyed, and the Edition is complete.
As these are all individually handprinted, each print has very slight variations, making them even more one of a kind!
Print comes unframed, and will be posted flat, sandwiched between stiff card. Alternatively I can post in a tube if preferred.
