Fully lined in printed cotton featuring native NZ birds or flowers.

NZ wool blankets are a little piece of NZ history, woollen blanket mills were found in Onehunga, petone, kaiapoi , canterbury and Mosgiel, Dunedin.The logos and styles of the labels changed throughout the decades, and its fun working out what decade blankets are from by their colours and stylised labels.
I find customers like to choose a label from their home town or a blanket colour/pattern that they remember from their childhood. A little piece of nostalgia you can use everyday.
I make these little gems using the blanket off cuts from my hotwater bottle covers, so the colours and labels are always changing depending on what blankets I have been utilising.
